Daria Petrenko, 20, an international student from Ukraine said: “I do not understand how is this happening right now, a war, in 2022. We all clearly know that Russia is a greater country in every way possible than Ukraine. What is this war trying to prove? What is the aim? Just to scare and terrorise Ukrainians? What is the point? Should Ukraine surrender? I mean, Russia is massive compared with Ukraine, but why would we bow down? We are all scared but deep down fully patriotic to not give up.”
